With my new kitchen, I decided my blog needed some sprucing up. I moved it off Blogger and onto it’s own domain with a much nicer design. I used to be a professional webdesigner and I only stayed with Blogger because it’s easy (and free). However, this design is a lot more user friendly and much more aesthetically pleasing.
I migrated all my old blogger posts, but some of the dates and tags and formatting messed up. I also lost a few photos, so I’m going to be cleaning all that up. I purchased EasyRecipe Plus and I’m trying to convert all my recipes to that format.
I also added more space for me to talk about stuff that isn’t food. I call it “ends and pieces” after all the leftover bacon parts. I thought that was funny, since the site is Recovering Vegan. I also used to have a personal blog called “My Ends and Pieces.” I often have something to say, but I don’t think it fits on the blogger page, since it’s strictly food. I figure I need just one place to talk about everything, and I like that the new design lets me categorize stuff so people looking for food or RunDisney can easily find that.
